Hi there,

just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for getting a 2-4 bedroom stand alone or compound villa in Al Khor.

Also, what is Al Khor like, are there hotels that serve alcohol>

i see there is a huge compound called al khor community but is there anything outside that for expats who are not living in that community(i don't work for rasgas or qatar gass so can't live in al khor community)

Can non-residents of al khor community socialise and use the facilites,,,gym pool,,,bar etc?

would appreciate any help i can get please, thanks.

Cheers Galloper, do you know how i could look for a villa to rent in al khor, i cant find any listings on the web?? Villas seem so expensive in doha compared to dubai... Our budget is 9k max for 2-3 bed villa.

Thanks for your detailed response,

For booze I do not know if the Al Sultan Beach Resort serves any on their restos/cafes. But so far and from what I know people come over the weekend to the bars/restos in Doha for their Booze dose. Or better yet they buy it on  QDC and then take it home. (once again this is what I know)

To use the facilities in Al Khor Community you must be either invited by a resident or be a resident. However the use is restricted to that time of visiting; meaning there is no memberhsip; so any time you want to go you must have somebody to invite you over.

Regards!!
