TV from USA -- Does it work in QATAR?

I was wondering if anyone has brought TV set from USA. Does it work here? Most of the TV sets work on NTSC system and here it is different. I am planning to bring one from USA but not sure if that will work here. Any idea?

Well actually I will take care of voltage. I was asking more on NTSC system.

Yes, it will work for a tenth of a second. Then the transformer will be gone. It's 240 Volts here.
