If my contract is finish in july and i want to leaave in july why I give notice before 2 months ? my contract says

-----The contract is valid upto the end of the specified period after which date it is considered null and void.
...
...
------Any of the two parties must give a notice of 60 days prior to leave /terminate the tenancy.

So my question is will my contract be not teminated automatically if i dont renew.?
Also to remove the electicity from my name landlord should allow me ?

actually we have the same problem our tenancy contract will end also on July. And we don't know also that we should give notice to the landlord. Please, to those who know the process or law before leaving, kindly advice us on what to do inorder for us not to face big problem as we want to leave the place..any advices is highly appreciated.

thanks stealth,

But i dont want to leave the flat now. I will leave only after contract period. For that(to vacate after end of contract) do i really need to give notice and such and such?

When you have already signed such a contract, what is the point in coming back and asking this question.

Just meet your obligation and thats it.

Else live for one more month and then leave the apartment

If you are vacating on specified period give him notice of vacating the flat immediately that will be before 45 days till the end of july from now on. These landlords scare every one. Make sure that either you fax him or take his signature on the copy of notice of vacating the flat. He cannot do anything.
