Tenancy Contract Ended - Landlord refuses to receive the key
My tenancy agreement ended on 19th December 2011. I informed the representative of the landlord and to the Watchman of the building ( I have sms message saved for record as an evidence) that I am vacating the apartment and requesting them to advise me of any formalities to be completed. I did not receive any response from him.
After 1 week the representative of the landlord called me to go with him to the apartment I had already vacated to see the condition of the apartment.
The apartment was extraordinarily was intact except the wall, where the TV was fixed, with very light pencil marking and four nail plugs.
The representative refused to take over the key from me and asks me to repaint the apartment. I have been requesting him to accept the key and he is not receiving it.
What should I do, kindly advise.

IN THIS CASE I THINK YOU SHOULD FIX THAT PLACE OF THE TV. REMOVE THOSE NAILS & CLOSE THE HOLES WITH LITTLE WHITE CEMENT & JUST PAINT A LITTLE AT THAT PLACE ONLY & ALSO RUB THOSE PENCIL MARKINGS. BECAUSE IT IS MENTIONED IN THE AGREEMENT THAT YOU HAVE TO RETURN THE APARTMENT IN THE SAME CONDITION YOU RECEIVED IT.
