Dear Qlers,

Can you please answer the following questions with regards to housing in Doha:

1) Nice family orineted areas to live in Doha with a budget of QR 8,000 - QR10,000 (Ideally 2-3 bedrooms). (My girls would be going to Doha English Speaking School or Park House School and I would be working in the Westbay).

2) What is recommended, Apartment or Villa living?

Many thanks.

Considering the budget and schools preferred...villa or a house at Abu Humour or Al Waab or Sadd residential areas would be more advisable

With your budget, you can get a decent villa. it is always better to live in a villa here in Doha since a lot of different people can just go inside a building. Villa is much safer and you would also get good and safe parking for your vehicle.
