Rent in Doha - how much in advance?

Hi There,
We are moving to Doha in the next month, I just want to be prepared as a friend in Abu Dharbi had to pay 6 months in advance on their rent, is it much the same in Doha or is it monthly rent payments?

Monthly only; just deposit a cheque as per the contract.
In doha 6 months free of rent as per Ezdan buildings.
Not such a thing in DOha, unless u r willing to get a better bargain

If not fully furnish, you have to pay QR2k deposit to KAHRAMA (refundable) + 1 month rental.
12 PDC + One month deposit
Expect to pay monthly. Some owners will give a slightly better deal on the monthly rate if you pay quarterly, bi-annual or annually, but the norm is monthly.
Didnt hear anyone paying 6 months rent in advance as in Abu Dhabi. Mostly here it should be monthly rent.
You should pay for what you get, not for what you are promised.
