QP Not Sure Now

Hi every one, not sure if we are coming now to Qatar. Seems the job offer is not all it seems to be. We have heard that some restructuring is happeding in Mesaieed. At least we have not given up our jobs yet. Can you imagie if we had and come out there just to find out my Husband did not have a job after 3 months.

Does QP do this sort of thing often, like get people over, then no job at the end of 3 months? Why bother offering a job if they were going to restructure. I feel sorry for anyone that has just gone out there. Is this true or just a rumour i wonder. Any comments would be appreciated.

We are so frustrated as we were looking forward to coming out to Qatar. Looking at the other forums about people not like QP are correct.

Anyway, glad to get it off my chest.

but i fear on this occasion you might be wrong. We will have to wait and see.

If known for the last 2 year, why still recruit? I presume you work for QP?

Life is not always greener on the other side.

QP doesn't terminate or qatarize anyone within 3 months.

Minimum 3 years guaranteed.

Agreed, at present Re-organization is going-on in Mesaieed BUT that's continued process and going-on for last 2 years. It has nothing to do with individuals position.

Anyway, final decision is yours.

It does seem as if something is going on but no one is saying, as there is meetings going on. Just in case, I have retracted my resignation, we dont want 2 of us out of a job. I too am frustrated just like Minnieme, it took my husband almost 11 months to get out there & now this.

Hope everything goes alright for you Minnieme & let us know if your husbands takes the job or not.

I think it unlikely that if a job has been offered that anyone will not be recruited.

QP are obviously experiencing difficulty recruiting. Subsequently, if they have managed to recruit someone they will want to keep that person. Even if the offered job disappears (it may or may not) they will find another one of equal level.
