old airport accomodation?

Hi!
My husband is already in Doha, my 15 month old daughter and I will follow at the end of the next month. He is currenly looking for accomodation for us, preferably something with the small garden.

I see that there are a lot of decently looking (on the screen at least) places in the Old Airport area for around R10K / mth; is the place really noisy and is there any decent English kindergardens near-by? What do you think of the area?

ok, my husband did exactly that - went to see few places, and just called me to say that he will take a place at beverly hills compound. well, it's over 10k, but he thinks our daughter will like it, as there are a lot of kids around.

i now have another question - is there a good kindergarden in the vicinity for 15 mth old? we would need preferably english ciriculum?

Dear Pticica,

keep searching in Q.L website under the accommodation section,

once u have found a place, ask ur husband to go to the location & view the place first. cost of living in DOH is a bit high, as you are having a kid, i'd say the cost will only increase.

i agree with eliashamzo, try to find something "a bit away" from the city if u wish to have a peaceful life, ( like me :D ) yet close enough to the working place, due to road traffic.

all the best in finding a new House :D
