Nyiste spam Windown MSN issues
Hi Guys,
This is a real pain, and noticed this while I was away on eid holidays.
The way it goes that there is an apparent virus which sends out an email to all of your contacts stating that you have purchased an iphone 3G from the site and have found it to be real cheap.
The apparent email ends with your name, hence it shows your contacts you to be quite genuine.
Further to that, you will also notice that your contacts in msn will have dissappeared, BUT you can still see them in the privacy area of options tab.
I'm not too familiar with the problem, but seeing it has happened to me I'm learning on the go as well.
The solution lies with msn restoring msn contacts..but the hard part is emailing them and waiting for them to respond back.

I'm with McAfee, though the problem is bigger than a simple use of an antivirus, this thing sends out email as real person but the twist comes when its linked to your MSN contacts.

The same happened to me......the only difference was it used to send links of porn sites to all my contacts.
Which antivirus ur using?
