Hello, to the familly of "Qatar Living" and congratulations for your attempt.



I just got an offer from my company to move and work to Qatar. The queries are many and i would appreciate if someone could help me... I've read several topics but the queries still remain...



-process of working visa.



-do i have to pass medical..???



-law of sponsorship (advantages and, mainly, disadvantages)...



-cost of living...???



-where should i loan an appartment (2000-2500QR)..???

If company provide accommodation, it is advised much better.

Thank you for the immediate reply..!!! I also should correct myself. The loan price is double (5000QR approximatelly). I'm not used to the rates yet...

-process of working visa.Get a Job, the company will give you a work visa. -do i have to pass medical..???Yes, everyone does. -law of sponsorship (advantages and, mainly, disadvantages)...Advantage: Free visa, Labour Law. Disadvantage: you are tied to that company. -cost of living...???Mainly European costs but lots of things come cheaper -where should i loan an appartment (2000-2500QR)..???Closer to work is better but at that price you will struggle.

I'm 29 years old, civil engineer from Greece, not married. The company delivers designs (structural, etc) and consultancy for technical issues.
