You cannot travel without a visa.

If the sponsor/ company have given you a date then they will have your visa ready by then.

They will be sending you the copy of the visa and you might need a ''visa on arrival message'' on your airline booking which also will be done by your sponsor/company HR.

Once you land on a work visa, you got to go through the medical examinations which your HR department will guide you to. It consist of Xray, and blood tests only. In three days you get your results.. Then you have to appear for the finger print. Then the resident permit will be stamped. It will take 3 to 5 weeks for the procedures to finish.

Good luck. welcome to Qatar

Try to get in touch with your sponsor/employer to get further details on when they will give you your visa. Sometimes it does take a little longer.

I say welcome to Doha!
