I am a Sri Lankan offered a good job at QP in Ras Laffan.
I take daily oral medication " metformin" for slightly elevated blood glucose level and cholestorol correction.
will this be a problem ? Can I buy " metformin 850mg" tablets in Ral laffan or is it allowed to bring with me 6 months medication through Doha air port ?
What is the employers policy about mild diabetes . it is not a communicable desease.

I don't know about Ras Laffan, but you can buy Glucophage (metformin) 850mg at any pharmacy in Doha without a prescription. I know because I have type 2 diabetes and this is what I take for it. Hope it helps!
