I am a 24 yo bachelor from Delhi, India. I am being offered a salary of QAR 8000 + transportation. I need to know will this salary be sufficient for a single person if I wish to have an average-descent lifestyle. It would be great if any one can list me the monthly basic expenses for accommodation (shared) and normal Indian food.

#venus12 Thanks!! No Company will not offer any accommodation and this salary of QAR 8,000 is during my probation period (3 Months) then it will be revised. .anyways. .For now I don't want to stay alone in 1BHK/studio as at least for 6 months I would like to live on sharing basis so that I won't feel alone and also will make new friends.

My office location is in Toyota Tower so I guess it will be good for me if I look out for nearby places like Najma, Al Hilal, Mansoura etc

Can you suggest me some more areas within 5Kms of my work place.

Type of accommodation preferred: fully furnished(Bed+Wardrobe+Fridge+Kitchen stuff+washing machine), One person per bed room in a 2-4 BHK.

If you know any such place. .PLEASE CONSIDER ME. . :)

ask company for accommodation , as its expensive here .

normally average accommodation on sharing basis comes to 1500 QAR / FOOD 1000 QAR / Various expenses 1000 & still you can save almost half of your salary ,

If company agrees for accommodation then its great , if not still fine - you can make a decent living
