I'm moving to Doha next month from the UK is there a good and not so good area to live?

yes ufcourse u can move n live in doha its a nice n peaceful place,but the rents are very high..........

there is only one school gud mes indian school..........

The best place to live is the Industrial Area. Cheap rooms and all spare parts for cars are available.

Not sure where the office is as it's a new set up for the company should know that in 2 weeks or so. There will be just me for now no kids (thank god) all grown up.

I've seen the prices for villas so forget them. Somewhere social with a cost bracket of 72 to 84pa rent

Dont live in homes here...They are expensive..

Live in malls..they airconditioned all the time..Heee Heee

Like locals and in the night you can sleep in your land cruisers like locals too...heeee heeee

A few more details would be useful, like where you will be working, are you with your family, do you need to consider schools and for what ages, do you prefer an apartment, a compound or a stand alone villa ?
