you can try to get job first than put your kids in the same school they give you approximately 50 %

you have plenty schools but harry up

salary is aprox. from 3500-12000 depend which grade they give you to teach

send your papers to education council but much better is to go from "door to door" and put your CV

good luck

I am confusing with your writing. What do you teach?

Music or cooking???????

I am sure you are not teaching English or Mathematics.

You are anting to come to Qatar? Anting like ants? have you already started your journey from UK and due in Qatar in couple of centuries anting along the way?

Teaching is already a very low paid job in Qatar but with these spelling, I will let you figure it out yourself when you get here.

I am an English teacher - I have been here for two years and I have two young children.

The salary is not as much as the UK for teachers - I think assistants don't match up at all. However, bear in mind you have no tax - council, income, NI etc. So, my take home pay is equivalent but with less out-goings.

Work hours are longer, holidays are not so well spaced. Kids are generally better than UK.

You would need a second income I imagine. You must look for a job that includes accommodation, visas, flights, school fees etc.

Generally, our life is better but like I said, I am a teacher. Perhaps you could bite the bullet for a year and go do a PGCE - would open a lot more windows.

Hope this helps?

There are plenty of teaching assistant jobs, but they will be non-sponsored (salary only). If you are qualified, the British Schools will be keen. Try Doha College - they have classroom assitants and also, learning support assitants, across primary and secondary.

If you are a first language english speaker, then there are plenty of job opportunities within most schools. The sallary is quite poor, and you will have to pay for school fees for your children. If your job will be bringing in the only sallary this is not a good move
