how to transfer car insurance?

to all QLERS, i bought a second hand car, i already finished the process of transfer of ownership in the traffic police, my question is do i need to transfer the insurance policy of the car under my name? the insurance is valid until feb. of 2010, or i'll just wait 'till the expiration date. If i need to transfer what are the legal papers that i need? Thanks people!

no need when u renew ur isthmara that time automaticaly insurance will be ur name
