I'm currently in the philippines processing my visa for immig to usa. One of the requirements was a police clearance from the country you had lived. My question is how can i get a qatar police clearance since i am here in my home country.?
If you have lived in the past in any country more than six months, then you have to get a Police clearance from that country for the period you have lived for any migration to a different country.
In that case, if you have any friend here in Doha, you may send to your friend two photograhps, your copy of valid passport (with validity period minimum six months) copy of passport pages with the resident permit stamped for the period you lived. A finger print form duly attested by Qatar Embassy in Philippines and (not sure, if required attestation by Ministry of Foreign Affairs,Phillippines please check and confirm in your country) Your friend can submit all these documents to CID office for clearance. On submission, they will advise your friend when to collect the police clearance.
Yes...Mohammed...one of the requirements in migrating to any countries is a police clearance where you stayed six months or more. You can inquire from Qatar Embassy in Manila - they might help you....
It might be a challenge, but I suspect you can do it. First, call the Philippines embassy in Doha and ask what the requirements are to get police clearance. You first need police clearance in your own country, then you can apply for it in Doha.
If you are really lucky, you still are in contact with the mandoub of your old company and he can do it for you. If not, once you know the process from the Philippines embassy, ask an old friend to take care of it for you. I think you'll need someone in Doha to help you move the paperwork around. If you don't know anyone here still, I suspect you can post a message on QL and someone here can offer the assistance.
