How to get Kahramaa deposit back ~ with LOST deposit receipt?

No need of old receipt... Just QID is enough .

Go to your nearest Kahramma office,with the reading of Electric meter and also water meter reading (take the number on the water meter painted normally ) and take the payment made latest receipt,fill an application,ask for linemen of your area,get his signature to certify the readings,submit in Accounts department,you will get a cheque for the remaining after settling your bills.Very convenient to get a refund.

deposit receipt NOT REQUIRD. Go brfore 10am get a form fill the details. then go below stairs there will be concern person. he will give the phone no of line man, you call him, he will come to your place check the reading, take taht to karaamaa again, they will send you to the account department, from there you can go to cash counter, but now there are issuing a cheque.

That should be ok. They should not be expecting us to keep the receipt if we intent to stay longer in a flat/villa. Let's say 10-15 years.

Indeed my connection is against my QID and hence the deposit also being tied to QID.

So do you mean to say that, its okay - even though you loose the deposit reciept?
