By one guy living ...

Please I need information on how I could export my car from Abu Dhabi to Doha.

1) what is the customs and registration procedure. its a Honda Accord 6 months old.

2) Do I have to pay customs.

3) Do you know if I could drive it from Abu dhabi to Qatar?

4) Do I need to go through Saudia Arabia?

Many thanks

Guys I'm wanting to do the same thing - seems the removal company will do all paperwork for one (permits, plates etc.) the only thing that has to be done is to pay up your lease in UAE (if you have one) No export can be processed without paying off lease....and its difficult to sell here in AD !

Didn't you had geography at school? Or just look at any map of the world and you can see that the only way from the UAE to Qatar is through Saudi.

Yes, you need a transit visa for Saudi which you can get in 3 working days.

Piet I never have been to the region so how you expect me to know if there is direct boarder between UAE and Qatar. but what would have been useful in your message is to tell me if I need a visa just to go through Saudia Arabia being non UAE national but resident and non stoping there but going to qatar.

Yes, you can drive it.

4) Do I need to go through Saudia Arabia?

Well, unless your car can fly or drive on water then you don't need to go through Saudi.....hahahahah silly question...
