How is is possible to get a taxi to pick me up? I've heard it's quite difficult.

Getting Karwa taxi during daytime is too hard...even you call them to book, they can not provide you taxi in an instance.
I suggest, if you dont have own car yet, contact for a private taxi (car lift services) to pick and drop you up.
But be careful in dealing with these private taxis they might asking higher payment.

You will struggle to get a taxi over the next 4 days. The taxi companies are fully booked. You can still hire a limo. Starting price 30QR and then a charge for every KM.
It can be difficult
depending on the time of day. For example mornings are almost impossible as so many people have them booked for going to work/school. If you know you need one it is best to book as far in advance as possible.
