Hi,

First you have to do is go to traffic department for an eye test or go to any optical shop that are accredited for eye tests for driving.

Then, you can check out driving schools, some of them assess first your driving skills, by which if you are good, you can have the short driving course, which is about a week. The only thing that is gonna keep you waiting is the scheduling of the driving test.

Cheers and Good Luck!!!

Cristina, getting a driving license here in Qatar means you have to enroll at a driving school and pass the exams. I heard from my friend that its about 40days but you may opt to try for the exams earlier if you're a good driver and this depends perhaps from your driving instructor.

your question is very general and yet no sufficient details to be given specific answers.

first, are you legally on the right age to drive?

some questions too as follows would be consider:

1. what's your nationality? are you a qatari, or belonging to GCC nationalities?

2. do you have a previous driving license obtain from other GCC countries?

3. are you a UK or western passport holder?

have you had qatari driving license before but is now expired?

then people can help you at least reply to your question.

hope that helps. :)
