one month rent ok - but many real estate dont return the cheques and no refund they say as per the contract. Some mention 3 months rent as penalty in the contract. That too they write in Arabic in the contract which normally expats cannot read. So it is like that...
The law is common for all house rental agreements.
One month notice period from either parties is a must.
some are rare with 3 months prior notice and incase of
immediate vacating the house, you are liable to abide
by the actual contract obligations. some owners are
good in understanding your plight and might agree.
If worst scenario, you can try for a replacement to
fill the place and get rid of the embarrassment.
