Hep B and medical for visa
Dear All
A friend of mine brought up in qatar , went to his native country for higher studies and was affected with Hep B . He was cured and no sypmtoms of hep ever since , now he got an job in an private company dealing with construction sector will he be barred from getting visa. he was infected with hep b during his stay in qatar under family visa earlier when he was a kid
I am looking for a valid answer
hi there, what if the status of the hep. b is chronic hep.b nonreactive?
Dear it really depends on the severity of the Hep he had... if as ur saying he got it as a kid when he was in Qatar specially those infected during early childhood, remain infected for life because they never clear the virus from their bodies, So clearly since ur friend got infected again then the virus still lives in him... chances are higher that his visa will be rejected after medical exam as he will be positive for still carrying Hep B
