Help in accommodation...moving new to Doha
Hi Friends...i am joining a Company in Dafna very soon. Please suggest a good location not very far from Dafna where I can settle down with family. I am looking for a 2 bedroom apartment with possibly a good Indian school nearby. Can somone urgently suggest a good location and the approximate expenses on rentals for an unfurnished accommodation please ?
it seems you are still in India and this is your first time going to stay in Doha.
In Doha, you should not worry much about the distance between your Office location and house, but think about the childresn school. Those facitilies, One day, if your wife has to drop them or pick them.
I prefer you stay near Airport area, Abu Hamour
As of now, the rentals are come down. However most of the Indian schools are located in Abu Hamour which is about 15 KMS from Dafna and accommodation in Dafna could cost you a lot more since it is considered to be a prime one or a luxurious residential area....however plenty of apartments are available for Qrs 5000 - Qrs 6000 in areas like Al Saad...which in my opinion is the cente between Dafna and Abu Hamour plus reasonable rentals for accommodation. There are plenty of real estate agents in Qatar (certified ones), let them know your budget and they will definitely assist you in finding one.
