Have the NOC rules changed when buying a car?
I have been told by my employer (RASGAS) that I no longer need to provide an NOC from my sponsor when registering a car.
However the private seller that I am in contact with believes this is still the case.
Can anyone confirm this change in the rules?
Has anyone registered a car in the last few weeks and found they no longer need the NOC?
Please don't bother to answer unless you have something useful and concrete to say.
Cheers

You might a be a professor of physics and over 40 years old, but in this country you still have to ask "daddy" (the sponsor) for permission to buy a car. Ridiculous, isn't it?
So does RASGAS count as government sponsored?
There is no changes in rules still same you have to provide NOC when buying a car.
If you are a government sponsored expat no need for NOC to register a car.
