Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself,I should be moving to Doha in the next couple of weeks and wanted to say 'Hi' to everyone and congratulate this site it's been very useful to me.

About me I am a 34 yr single professional born in Colombia and raised in United States... I have strong ties to both cultures, have my US Master's degree and well traveled, I recently get Back from Argentina.. (Amazing trip !!).. love to travel. (next stop Dubai I guess).

I have very good friends from different nationalities... however would be nice to know if there are any Colombians (Americans for sure already there) in Doha please get in touch. I hope not be the only one.

People , if there is any groups to socialize, I would like to join, I like to play tennis and outdoor activities.

Also I'm looking forward to get a nice flat (1/1), but open to find a good room mate, I had great experiences form my past mates and developed good friendships.

Thank you all of you,

Sincere Regards

Hey people,, quite frankly I didn't expected SOO much positive response, thanks to all, I like the vibe everyone is putting out, this will be an interesting adventure...

Again if anyone has info for flatshares, and rates will really appreciate that, same as how much will be the cost to rent a 1/1 flat, and Monthly rent for an Econo car (don't need anything fancy,,,,, just wheels with A/C to move on)...

Thanks everyone for reply, I hope to make good friends there and looking forward to have a good time. Is there any particular area that you might suggest me to live ?

I would like to have a place close to restaurants, shops, where you can walk .. I saw some nice pics from Corniche Avenue, I'm looking for something nice and close to the Airport..

Thank you all of you
