And i'm also a Garmin user...
I suggest go for route66 or nokia 500 auto navigator ... if u want builtin gps in mobile then go for 6210 or 6110 navigator..
6210 price in market 1550/-
& nokia 500 navigator 1700/-
If you are really looking for a real GPS then the only thing for you is Garmin. If you are looking for any thing that can do little bit of GPS then there are lot of nokia phones for you to chose from. But I will recommend that you can not find any thing like Garmin if you compare the GPS features.
sorry i mean 6110
also it is possible to connect your mobile to a small lcd monitor in your car so that you will get both mobile handset and navigator, but be careful that some mobile phones use a tial verion of navigators and some use gprs connection to work as gps "which is coastly"
i think the best mobile handset is nokia navigator (6610)
First of all a someone said, you don't need a GPS for Doha or even Qatar.
Also there are many options available. There is a nice gadget from Nokia called Nokia 500 or something that is made for cars only.
I suggest you go for a Portable Garmin unit which you get with GCC Maps.
You have two options
1) Explore Carrfour there is on offered by Nokia brand or
2) Go for a second hand as someone leaving cud offer you for cheap .....also Doha is so small ...do we need GPS at all ? ...vetron drivers can correct me ... Cheers
