There are many factors to look best accommodation. Under the present conditions of Qatar, first and foremost ppl r looking cheap and best - then school locations then shopping centers. As we can reach anywhere within 20-30 minutes to any shopping centers before 2 years, but now almost half of our life in the road because of traffic. If your work in city center, it is advisable near Mugalina, Madinath Khalifa, TV Round about, etc. But taking into consideration your children will be in Indian School, it may be better to have near Asiri, (Near Ramada Signal), or Maamoura area. Ofcourse, the budget also an important factor. WIsh u all the best

Dear Friend,

First and foremost stick to the question particularly mentioning about the area where you are working and the location where u want?

There are many locations in Qatar where Indians Live. Examples are Mughalina, Najma, Old Airport, Matar Qadeem, Mansoura for Filipinos & Indians and also many places around Doha.

I can guide you the exact location where you prefer

If you are looking for flats where lot of indian comunity stay check out those grey flats opposite to clock roundabt or VIP rouandabt ..... rents are reasonable 7500-8000 types for a two bed , two bathroom, kitchen , hall and small dining and small balcony too...

Its near to corniche and bida park ... plus Dasman hypermarket is nearby. You have mughalina health centre also nearby..

Other than that Mansoura is also a gud residential area ...

If you prefer calm areas check out in west hilal areas ... u do find indians but not a lot .. i stay here ..benefits are gulf n doha cinema nearby, mall, lulu hyper, safeer, ffc nearby. Birla Public School , Noble Indian School is nearby ...

hope this helps.

Many thanks NB/nashan for all your help. best wishes to others also for their broadmindedness???.

NB,what is best way of looking for places at areas mentioned by you. also, how far are these places from schools say DPS and from office ( near city center).

One more help, since my husband won't be having car in the initial months, what is the best and economical way of commuting upto office (city center).

sorry for all the botheration.

You are not helping her but trying to put her up in the cage. Instead of helping her being free and enjoy the other culture you are guiding her wrong.
