Full time drivers?
By coolmoedee •
Would anybody have an idea how much a full time driver would cost? 5-day work week is sufficient, no need for him on Fri & Sat. Intent is for me to purchase a car to ferry me to and from work, but rest of the time leave it with my wife who unfortunately doesn't have a driving license so that she can move around with our toddler for errands etc. Is this a viable option or is it better for her to just call a cab since it's not the rush hours she needs the car while I take the car. Thanks.
He was not my driver, but my friends. I believe they got him through the Human Resources Dept. of their company.
Hi dee dee,
Thanks for replying. You mentioned you pay for a trip home for the driver. Where is he from? And approximately how much would the airfare cost? And lastly, where did you get his contact from?
Thanks so much.
pay 2000 a month. He drives the hubby to work, then ferries the wife and kiddies around. He washes the car and takes care of all maintenance etc. He has Fri & Sat off. They also pay his mobile fees and a trip home each year. He does not live in. This is cheaper in the long run than a part-time driver as they can charge anywhere from 20-40 per trip and are not at all dependable.
Good drivers in a salary range of 2000 to 2500..
If she has the guts for it,
let her take driving lessons and get her own DL
It is much better to be independent,
You can find here and there part time drivers,
Are the dependable, trust worthy..!?
in any case Good Luck
