Hi

My company has recommended me Ezdan Suites and what I have seen I like very much. Situation, facilities, modern...

However I have read some old post (one year old or more) here where some people were suffering all kind of disasters there.

Can anybody tell me how is going now? can you use the swimmingpool? Do you have problems with internet or electricity? What about the cleaning services?

I am interested in an Executive Suite 1BD if someone is in the same category or now it I will thank your oppinion.

Any idea how much for a 1 bed room unit ?

Besides the rental, any other costs like maintenance or service fees ?

P.P.S. The swimming pool is Olympic size by the way, bloody huge & almost infinity style! From the jacuzzi nearest the health-club you can see the bay which is spot on!

Would add some pics if I knew how..... :-$

P.S. no problems with mobile coverage in my appt in T2, can't comment on other towers.

We can dial nationally no problem from the hotel phone, although I still tend to use my mobile.

I use Skype for international calls, so never tried the hotel phone for that.

Internet is built-in, not wireless, but you can buy a modem from Carrefour cheap as chips, if not just plug in your RJ45 cable & you're away, just get a long one...!

There's the Graffeo coffee shop cherry I still have to break...

I am staying there for 8 months, in 1bedroom suite. I m finding its ok, some small issues will be there like alarms blow suddenly etc. I have friends from Germany and UK, who magnify even a small issue. If you are not that type you can enjoy the stay.

I live in tower 2 on the 24th floor of Ezdan suites in a 2 bed apartment.

I use the swimming pool practically every day, the jacuzzi's located by the pool are great, the little snack come cocktail bar - no booze as yet.. :-( serves up decent enough food n drinks, the health club is very modern & sauna's & steam rooms add to the facilities!

Although on a humid day who needs a sauna when they're lying by the pool...!!

My colleague has been in Ezdan since October last year & has had no problems, in my short time neither have I.

Waking up & seeing the bay & corniche of a morning is just superb if you're a water person like myself.

Put it this way, a friend of mine who was just over for an interview turned down a job because of what she felt was sub-standard accomodation - once she came to my apartment she sighed, saying that if the standard had been anything like mine she'd have taken the job.

Finishing isn't the best, it was clearly rushed towards the end to satisfy a deadline, but on the whole I'd give it a big thumbs up as I think many other residents probably would!!

Exdan is not bad at all. It depends on which tower you will be living in. Tower 1 is one of the best towers to be in as it is the oldest and has gone through all the usually malfunctions that occur in maintenance and staff, but has been upgraded through time. Tower 3 has some nice views, and tower 4 is too new, and has nothing right now. In Tower one we have everything... next to the pool (yes you can use it (9 - 7)and the gym (6.30 - 11) for free, just bring your own towel or pay 80 (Ithink) a month for all the towels both gym and pool. No problem with Electricity, but mobile network a complete disaster. Also, landline is only internal, no outside calls or mobile calls.

Hope this helps.
