Hi,

Is it true expatriates working in qatar are not allowed to leave teh country with out an exit permit?

when your wife is under your sponsorship she doesnot require an exit permit to leave the country.

You might also be able to get a multi-exit permit. I have one, so once they put in in the system I can come and go as I please. It took maybe 4 days to get the multi-exit.

if your company has e-government (exit permit on line application) then it's a matter of 5 mins.

if they still do it manually, your PRO will get it the same day of application.

exit permit is valid for 7 days.

How long does this "exit visa" take to process? I'm disappointed!! my employer in qatar never mentioned abt this.

you need your employers approval to get an exit visa, i apply to my employer for the exit visa

So what happens if we want to take our home leave? dowe need special approval from the employers etc..etc..?

also, what if my wife is with me.. and she want to leave the country? she is nto working, where would she get these approvals from?
