Electric Bill
Can someone please tell me what information and/or documents I need when I visit KAHRAMAA to put the electicity and water in my name? Also what must I have when I visit QTEL to get the Internet in my home? Is Qtel the best service? I will take wireless or dsl (doesn't matter to me). WHich is more expensive to install (wireless or DSL)? I am not interested in any Internet packages that include cable tv packages since I already have the tv services I want. Thanks for your help.
Electricity & Water: Go to any of kharamaa office with present meter reading and settle all out standing, show them your new tentancy contract as well as you ID & pay deposit that is it..so simple!!
Internet:
New Customer?
Visit any Qtel Shop
Prepare a copy of your ID (passport) or Residency permit
Note the Qtel number for your residence (usually at front door)
Complete an Application Form for New Service (click here)
Bring along your Electricity or Water account number
Landline:To subscribe, you may visit any of our communication centers located all over the country. For Local and foreign residents, you must be 18 years of age or older. Please bring along a copy of your national ID, passport or your residence permit. The minimum contract liability is only 3 months.
