Hi,

I may be moving to the U.A.E. for work and I would like to ask about the living conditions there. Is it comparable to Qatar?

Thanks all.

Once you got your RP in dubai salary requirement is only 4500 dirhams plus accommodation allowance and tenancy contract that's it. Take note most of the government officer in Dubai are friendly. Residence visa for your family the processing time is only 3 hours for me if you have complete requirements. Doha is just improving hoping for more success. While Dubai is trying to reach as number ONE in the world in some fields.

money and enjoying yourself without spending an arm and a leg.

I'm not referring to disco life, parks and beaches all nearby and next to nothing to enter.

Katara beach- 100 Riyals

Jumeirah Beach Park- 5 Dirhams a person

Depends on your objectives. If you want to save money, then Qatar. if you want a good work / life balance with things to do, then Dubai.

All types of entertainment are in Dubai. For the current situation you are lucky if you find good salary package and what is your field of work. I'll be relocated to Qatar next month I'm a little bit lucky I got thrice my salary in the field of construction.

Best quote I ever heard comparing to Doha to Dubai... Was Dubai is finished! haha

Seriously Dubai is much better than here so much more to do & see than here. I mean people actually go on holiday in Dubai. It wouldn't even be a consideration for me I would begging work to transfer me there!
