Dubai - Doha by car - transit through Saudi?
By HarunAlRasheed •
Hi all,
Can anybody tell me, how it is to travel by car from the UAE to Qatar? Do I need to apply for a transit-visa in advance or can I get it at the border?
Is that trip recommendable anyway, or is it maybe better to have the car transported on a truck or so? Is that anyway possible with a Dubai plate?
Thanks for helping!

the bank will only give you an authorization when u deposit the amount that is left for u to pay .. otherwise .. u can not pass the uae border ... u can only go to oman with that car ... unless u own the car .. u cant go there .. and i have no idea about if its ur friend's car .. u should call and as the saoudi embassy in dubai ..
dude .. u can get a ticket to doha for 850 derhams .. why dont u just go for that ? that's what am doing at least
Just wondering if anybody has drove using friend's car to Dubai?
If the car was still under Bank Loan, does it is possible?
Do I need to prepare any extra document for the vehicle such as authorisation letter from my friend or bank?

Its safe, but watch out for heavy trucks.
You'll need a Saudi transit visa ahead of time.
I'm sure you can ship the car but consider the cost and compare to renting.
Yes, you have to apply for a Saudi transit visa, and if you are a resident of any GCC country, it should be easy to travel between them and get entry visa from the other country, except Saudi and Kwait you have to have one in advance.
safe trip, it;s nice expereince
