Driving on visit visa?
Hi to all!
My wife should come here and before she gets residence can she drive my car on family visit visa? I'm sure she can drive a rent-a-car, but is it the same thing with my car or not?
She already has Omani driving licence, so getting of temporary driving licence will not be a problem.
Oman is one of the GCC Country and if she has an Omani Driving Licence and thus she is eligible to drive freely in Qatar.
Dont worry chap, let her drives but must be vigilant at all times when she is one the road.

She cannot drive a car here with an Omani Driving License, she should have a proper Qatari Driving License.
With an international driving license she can drive a car
I am %95 sure that she can drive with her Omani DL as long as she is on a visit visa. However, If you wana be in a very safe side then get her a temporary Qatari DL for QR 150. She can get it on the spot after showing her Oman DL + passport + no objection letter from you "as a sponsor"
