Driving with a UAE Driving License

2.5: 2 photos (if you're wearing glasses, make sure the photo is with glasses)

2.6: No objection letter from sponsor

2.7: Credit/Debit Card for payment (I think it was around QAR150 or QAR250).

3. Once you get your RP, bring all those items in 2) plus the Temporary Driving License to Traffic Department again. Of course, you need to pay again. You will then receive your permanent Qatari Driving License, valid for five years.

This is from my experience:

1. I went to the Traffic Department in Madinah Khalifa to get the Temporary Qatari Driving License. I think it is better to have a Temporary Qatari License instead of just having UAE Driving License.

2. Documents needed:

2.1: License Application Form

2.1.1: Form available at: http://www.moi.gov.qa/site/arabic/departments/TrafficPolice/resources/2008/08/04_9524.pdf

2.1.2: The application form must be filled in Arabic, English not accepted.

2.1.3: You must bring the form to an approved optician for eye test.

2.2: Copy of UAE Driving License (Both sides on a single page)

2.3: Copy of passport

2.4: Copy of the visa (bar-code sticker / number) on your passport

Yess...You can drive with GCC License..and It is also very easy to convert your license locally once your RP is done..Good luck dude.
