I have a class 5 Canadian lisence.I questioned three time but everytime answer was different some r saying u need to give a test and other r saying u can convert ur lisence without test. i don;t know which answer is correct bcoz i am new in Qatar only 2 month old.Can u tell me who will give me a right answer.Thanks

The new traffic rules, Canadian license cannot be converted to Qatari license unless you pass the test.
You can have 3 options:
- to take direct test (without taking any lessons)
- take direct test & take 5 hours refresher training course
-take short course for 12 hours

As for as I know, you can covert to Qatari license without a test..and speaking of training if you are a licensed driver from Canada,I am sure you already drive better than most of the Qatari drivers..you don't need any training!
JUst curious, do you have class5 or class7 license from Canada?
Karwa driving school is the best.
You can try the Karwa Driving School or Al Khebra Driving School. They have good facilities and instructor.
