I've called a couple of schools, and they all ask for eye tests and my sponsor's letter of approval. My question is, where can I take the eye-tests and not get ripped off like most places in Doha and regarding the sponsorship letter, is any format acceptable as long as it looks official and states that my sponsor approves of me driving?

can get your eye tested at approved places like the one in Lulu Hypermarket for just QR 30/-..

You can ask you sponser to give you a letter. It should mention that your sponser doesnot have any objection in you driving. It should also contain your sponser's company seal. Make sure, your sponser's company license is valid and you ahve avalid Visa.
