Driving to Abu Dhabi

Hi,
We like to drive to Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.
Any Problems?
What about the quality of the road?
Are the directions signs in Arabic only?
What about the Qatar car insurance?
Any fuel stations on the way?
Thank you for all the information.

No problems just needs preperations.

1. Transit Visa through Saudi Arabia QAR125 Round trip at one of the Saudi Agency.

2. Car Insurance in Saudi - 1 to 7 days = QAR70

3. Car Insurance in UAE - 1 to 7 days = QAR100

4. Visa UAE - if from one of the 33 countries can get visa on arrival.

5. I dont recommend driving at night on the Saudi Road to UAE but the UAE road is nice and no radars till you get to the city of Abu Dhabi.

6. I always fill the tank at the last fuel station in Qatar then after passing the boarder in UAE next to the Big Mosque on the Left side. (fuel is about double price from the price in Qatar.)

7. On returning you will have to pay some immigration fees of 30 DHS for each person upon exiting UAE.

Have a safe trip.
