After holidaying with my family (who were resident) in Doha many times up until about 3 years ago I have just been offered a permanent position there.

I'd appreciate some comment on what people think to my package bearing in mind i am a single 25yr old male who does like to socialise though i expect much of my socialising will revolve around the rugby club.

basic - 15,000
allowance - 7,000

i would ideally like a relatively decent (UK standard) 2 bed flat/apartment/studio.

My main concern is my lack of funds up front, i just bought a house in the UK so dont have any savings to help me settle in.

Any comments / help / guidance would be much appreciated.
