Cheapest Car Rental Company
I just moved back, and I need a rental car until the right time when I can consider purchasing a car. So far, I see that the cheapest monthly rate for a 1600cc car or something equivalent (nothing fancy, only a small sedan for a while) is 1700 QR. Does anyone have anything cheaper, like a little less than 1700? I do not expect a lot less than that, but was curious about the very cheapest rate we know about on QL.
I am aware of al-Muftaah, Strong, and Baseline. I tried some friends' contacts, but they have not been promising. The threads on QL I was able to find about this are a little out of date. Any thoughts?
There are lots of rental in Qatar & Cebu. I've seen some company in cebu car rental service that are cheap and fast action of transporting.
My advice, if it's worth listening to......avoid Petra Cars! Went to look at a car of theirs last week to pick up, a skip had less rubbish in it! When asked if they could clean it they offered for me to get it cleaned and they would pay the bill, when I said no, they took it to get it cleaned, it came back worse than its original condition. pay a little more and go to a reputable company

They are big time cheater. They scratch your car themselves and charge you for that. Don't go with them. There are hundred others to choose from.

Another option is Rent to Own (option or contract) You will pay a little more than car loans but you get the facilities far more easier than can loans. A few dealers and leasing/rental companies (including ours) is offering ownership rental/leasing products. you can PM me if interested.
Other option is car loan and then buy new (better in long run). There are a number of dealerships around (doha-dealerships.com) good luck!
