change of job title with the same sponsor

Hi! I would like to know your opinion about this scenario. I was interviewed by a company in Qatar for an office position. The interviewer asked me if there won't be any office job, would I accept a front desk work. I plainly said yes just to show my interest to the company. Then as expected, I got a call from the agency telling me that I'm accepted although there's a different arrangement. I'll be hired for the front desk position(well, with lower salary), have training for a month, then the company will evaluate my performance to see if I would stick to that job or be given a different one(yeah, the office job as my agency was saying).

Is that really possible? Thanks for your advice. ^_^

If you think the offered salary and the position is not upto your level, don't accept then...

But if you will ask whether company has any right to do such things, then YES-THEY HAVE ALL RIGHTS..

They really wanted to just get some people in for the front desk, but as it is low salary and position they just say that its the only onpening. why would anyone with BS of Computer Technology go for a secretary possition?

The sponsor can change the employee's designation if he/she wants... no difficulties...show your best.

thanks! i'm just a bit skeptical... could have been better telling me that my experience isn't enough for the job i want that's why they'll give me another one.. rather than saying something that isn't possible from the beginning.

thanks again for your comment! ^_^
