Just wanted to know, is the 3 year technical exemption rule for new cars valid from the year of manufacture of car or from year of purchase of car? For example my car is a 2007 model but I purchased it Brand New from the dealer in 2008. So which year will I have to start the technical inspection?

Three years from the model year and not purchase year.
