Beer Must be Served at Fifa WorldCup

Fifa has declared that Brazil must sell beer

Good to know the stadiums here in Doha will soon be following this key FIFA requirement
Quite honestly i don't know why this is being debated in reference to Qatar - 2022 is a decade away and a lot can happen in that time and most people commenting now will not even be here - irrelevant
Its not just the beer and the drinks but I suppose its more of living like the rest of the world does and not like some people can have it and others cannot..some people can enter certain places like the park, corniche, etc and others cannot..
?
perhaps they know that football is so boring they need something to take the edge off???
why not just have a bottle of plain water.....
FIFA needs to be put in place. It will be sooner rather than later....
???????
Looks like business is going to be boooooming for QDC and there will be less takers for cologne, lotion and the other dangerous cocktails once beer starts to flow.
All the guys at the industrial area may then start going to watch football at the stadium.
I'm the same - but at the Ladies Football matches :o)
I don't think I can watch football unless I am drunk.
I would agree that Beer should be allowed for the fans 'outside' the stadium.
However, I don't see why FiFa should dictate that it be mandatory inside. There are many clubs in UK that prohibit drinks inside the ground due to the possibility of violence...
The spectators don't play with the ball, don't they? And before they start playing with their balls, it's better to have them drink a beer.
you play with beer or with a ball?
Stupidity.
"Alcoholic drinks are part of the Fifa World Cup, so we're going to have them. Excuse me if I sound a bit arrogant but that's something we won't negotiate," he said.
It is very arrogant. What does drink have to do with football, apart from the huge sponsorship and the freebies for the FiFa dignitaries.
why wait for 2022 we can start it right away so the spectators can develop good manners and learn to dispose their beer cans or bottles in a proper manner in the garbage bin instead of throwing it on the pitch or at the players
No, it wouldn't, if they'd serve the beer in paper cups. Even if they'd throw one at your head you wouldn't get hurt!
wouldnt it be a safety/security issue inside the stadium
2022 is still far away, you never know what happens before that.........
it today's morning and thought the same.
But it is quite interesting that Brazil do not allow Alcohol/beer to be taken into the stadium.
What about strippers ‘n lap dancers?
