Been 4 days since settling down here...

Ok, it's been 4 days since I reached Doha, Qatar and been settling down at a temporary accommodation.
1st day outing on my way to Corniche, I was honked by 12 cars and been approached by 2 guys asking for my contact nos.
Hmm...anyway Doha is a beautiful place though. Just that it's very difficult to get a taxi.
Hope the taxi service can be improved further.
Cheers to all Qataris and non-Qataris!

Nope, I'm not veiled but yes I was there, and saw few athletics or sportsmen/sportswomen jogged in the cold rainy and drizzled weather.
And btw, I like guys who respect women better instead of those who likes to stare and ogle at us, women.
Cheers.

Yup...Qatar is a beautiful country to begin with. Much development in some areas as you can see (particularly around City Centre).
The honking and the "gentlemen" who stopped you to ask for your number happens to most of the women around here. Had my share of those type of "wanting/getting to know you" since I started driving myself. Most recently was 2 days ago when i was on my way to the bank in Al Rayyan.
You'll yet to experience getting STARED (ogled, more likely) by some MEN as you walk around the malls, on the street or even when you're in a group.
A few of our QL ladies got some bad experiences as well.

She must be hot.....
You can't teach experience...
Normally I apply full brakes when I see a veiled women in front of me, but today the track was a bit slippery due to the rain so I kinda skidded.
Experience on the road has taught me two very important lessons. Never take your eyes off a person on a bike on the road coz you never know when they will take a sudden turn
And always slow down when you are behind a car being driven by a lady as they tend to apply brakes for unknown reason in the middle of the road.
Do you always fall when you see veiled women? I saw one guy fall today on the Corniche. :)
I was the only "wise" jogging on the corniche today and I had a great fall. I mostly saw veiled women today on the corniche who normally dont come to the corniche on normal days. So I guess you were one of the veiled women.
