for my Australian skilled immigration visa i have been told by my case officer to do the statutory declaration in presence of an Australian consular of embassy representative. as there is no Australian consulate or embassy here in Doha so can anyone tell me is there anyway i can get it done in here instead of going to Abu dhabi??????
Rang the office in Abu Dhabi today, they reckon they will be visiting Doha on 28th & 29th January, possibly at the Marriot, although they couldnt confirm any of this and told me to wait for the email that is getting sent out soon.
Are they going to accomodate those who are planning to migrate to Australia? Or they will be here just for Aussie citizens?

My husband phoned them yesterday with the same question. They said 'maybe towards the end of this month' but it sounded vague and doubtful. I wonder how many more Aussies they need in Doha to justify having a proper presence here?
