Are they Radars?

Are the big vertical electronic devices installed all over corniche and other roads 'Radars' or just advertisement hoardings only.

those are not radars

those are for security reasons installed by ministry on Interior

if you look close above the clock you will see in the middle its curved inside and there is the camera lens.

so its covering the whole corniche road and the back road which goes to Diwan from airport.

No,those are not radars my friend,those vertical towers are used only for ads.The ones which are smaller and colored black dotted along the corniche road are the radars.Be careful when you're passing on that black towers,be sure you are not exceeding the road speed limit.Drive safely!

Yes, those 12" width and 2 meter long black box is a very highsensitive radar system to detect over speed and it sends signal to control vigilence survieliance section to determine the charges of deafaulter. So be cautious about them. There many other devices also untectable placed in different locations as well.
