Are these houses legal??

I have been looking for a place on rent and i have been coming across houses which are entirely built with gypsum board. These are independant houses. I want to know if they are lagal. Or can they be demolished if found by municipal?

Better to avoid this type...this wll create legal problems

Hi. Why worried ? Don't go for it if you are not sure. This has become a common practice in Qatar that "agents" leases large villas and make it in to number of "independant" houses and make money out of it. Not safe, This is not with the knowledge of municipality or civil defence authority.

THERE ARE LOT OF HOUSES OF THIS TYPE , SO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS.

AS I KNOW HOUSE/ROOM BUILD WITH GYPSUM BOARD U DON'T NEED TO GET PERMISSION FROM THE MUNICIPALITY BUT IF U USE BLOCK'S U NEED PERMIT FROM MUNICIPALITY TO AVOID PINALTY...MOSTLY INDIAN'S DO THIS HOUSE...
