I just want to make an enquiry regarding our problem with our Landlord.He wants us to pay another 500 riyals as additional rent starting next month where in he just increased last January for the same amount (500 riyals)! That means, a thousand riyals increase for a period of three months.We started renting last Dec of 2007 for 3,000 riyals and we have a valid contract.He has been threatening us to vacate the house otherwise he will cut the electricity and water supply.

find another place to rent. at this time, the rents are all going low not going up. it's because there are too many available places to rent and noone is taking them. goodluck!
