sorry mate...in fact, the few cheaper bars in town have been shut down by the authorities, only 4 star & above hotels may serve alcohol...you could try the golf club but i've been told they only allow memeber & their guests now...the rugby club is an option ONLY if you're white & over 40,else be prepared for extremely racist behaviour & attitude from middle class whites...it's like stepping into a working man's club in a village somewhere in England...is a beer worth that?...i think not...cheapest option,as others have already advised you,get a permit(fairly easy to get these days) & buy your own & drink in the comfort of your home...

Golf Club (small amount) .. or else issue a license & take it from QDC for a good price.

GodFather.

No Restaurants. But you can get a pint with your meal at the Golf and Rugby Clubs, and Al Dana Club.

Sorry to say you will have to spend the 40-60 QAR.

Only hotels are authorized to sell liquor. Or the best choice is QDC where you can buy your own booze (please do a search on this to find all the details)

Regards!!
